Subaru reduces WRX STI price

Subaru’s high performance WRX STI model has been reduced in price ahead of the new 62-plate launch, meaning it is now available from £26,995, a £6000 reduction. That price buys a 2.5-litre 300PS all-wheel drive performance car, but those hankering for more performance can upgrade for £1599.

That increases performance to 340PS, by way of altered ECU settings and a tweaked exhaust system. The upgraded 340R model will hit 60mph in 4.7 seconds, with improved in gear acceleration to boot.

Those tempted will be pleased to hear that the WRX STI can be financed for less than £300 a month, and some 0% offers are available. Like all Subarus, the WRX STI comes with an impressive aftercare package that covers everything from mechanical components to a monthly valet, as well as dent repair, winter wheel and tyre storage and various other extras.

Order books are open so buyers can order ahead of the new 62-plate arriving.
