Bought a Sant Fe Style Auto 5Dr in July, no problem with delivery dealer checked availability on-line,within the week.

Now had it 3 month and very impressed with performance/ride/comfort and consumption I must admit I was apprehensive as I traded in 3lt S-type, but the Santa Fe has not disappointed at all,obviously the handling isn't as sharp as the Jag but it's a very different vehicle.

Overall I do not regret buying, done 3000+ at average 37-38 mpg mostly motorway but not hanging about.

Finally took delivery on 27/10 after about 10 weeks so not too bad in the end. Actually a great service from Buyacar which included part ex on our old car which they collected the same day as delivery of the new onewith no fuss - all from our doorstep.

As far as the car is concerned it's early days but I have to say it's brilliant. I always thougth with the last version of the Santa Fe that if they sorted the wood trim, the radio and uprated the power and torque - which they've now done - it would be worth buying.

We got the 7 seat Style - loads of room even in the rearmost seats although as you'd expect there's a lack of depth in the footwell. The manual box is smooth, good quality looking interior (although I guess time will tell) and the engine is powerful, smooth and quiet.

I haven't tested it on anything other than tarmac yet. Mazman and anyone thinking of a car like this - definitely worth a look.
