Hi

My car is making a loud whirring/rubbing sound, it increases with road speed and lessons slightly with the clutch pressed. It's also a lot worse when turning right.

I had it at a local mechanic and he reckoned it was gear box related but refused to touch a mercedes one.

Any ideas what it could be? It's also due a B Service, so not sure if that could be related. Turns out the last service wasnt carried out by MB - mechanic reckons they've just done a bog standard service. ]
