Hope someone can help!
I have a 94 Cavalier 1.7TD - a couple of day ago it developed a weird sound from the back passenger side corner. When driving along it sounds like something compressing/decompressing (i.e a dual sound compress/decompress as per a bicycle pump). It will only happen maybe 3/4 times in a half hour drive, but when parked up I cant replicate the noise by 'bouncing' the car. It seems to be the general area of the shocks - is that it?
Any ideas would be appreciated
Many thanks

I always thought that the name of the car was the way in which it was built...

Yes, sounds like rear dampers to me.

I think it's caused by mice in the boot. The "compressing/decompressing" is the noise they make when making love.
Try driving faster.
