MoT question...... - Viz

My current Ford Focus Zetec is up for an MoT in May.
One of the front built in the bumper fog lights has smashed glass and doesn't work either.

Will my car fail its MoT because of this ?

Fog lights are not testable; but broken glass could be a no-no under the "sharp edges" rule.

Simply tape-over any sharp bits for the test and no problem.

It could fail on the hazard presented by the smashed lens, so tape it over with duck tape. The it should be fine.
