Pug. 406 2.1TD. Sticking rev. counter - cholin
I would be grateful for any hints, tips or ideas on the above problem. The counter tends to stick at 2000, a tap will free it. It does not invariably stick but when it does it's at the same place. I guess it's mechanical, in the clock itself. I would like to get at the back of it and have a look at things. The word according to Haynes' makes it look a relatively easy job to get the panel out but . . .?
the car is P reg.
