Fiesta Mk3 discs/pad - Porky

I am looking to replace the discs/pads on my 1995 Fiesta, the first set of Mintex discs I bought had no screw hole to secure them to the strut. These were replaced but it seems that the discs on the car are held on by a big centre nut. I thought the discs were just held on by the wheel nuts and should just tap out. Is this correct?

Most discs don't have the screw hole I bought original ford discs for my mk3 fiesta and they had no screw hole. The disc is held by the caliper on to the hub and will easily remove when you unbolt the caliper, just simply pull the disc off. The big centre nut is the wheel hub nut and nothing to do with the discs brakes. Hope this helps.
