Hi
There is water the the high level brake light of our car. This is the three door version so I think it’s slightly different to the 5 door. It is mounted within the spoiler.
I can’t see how to remove this brake light to inspect.
There is a hole with a plastic latch or clip on the underside but I don’t want to break it poking around without knowing the proper methods.
The manual is unhelpful.
Does anybody know? Thanks. Read more
Im replacing my ageing Cmax 2 ltr manual. I want to buy an auto but cant decide between the 1.5 or 2.0 litre. Will i miss the power of the 2 litre if i get a 1.5, does it feel sluggish to owners on here. Whats it like at motorway speeds?. Any views welcome please. Read more
Forget anything with Fords fragile Powershift gearbox. There have been several class actions across the globe against Ford for this gearbox and finally they’ve replaced it with a much more robust torque converter box in the latest cars. It’s one to avoid.
After owning two very old and battered cars (and spending no money on them as they were pretty much fault free for 17 years) we decided to buy a CRV from a very well known dealer. Looked tidy, fairly low mileage for year, drove well. Not a very expensive car as they go of course, but a step up for us and obviously from a dealer is rather over the odds anyway, price-wise.
Got it home and when I looked out of the bedroom window, it's got a proper dent in the roof to one side. You cannot see it unless you have a ladder or are looking from above. Not a stone chip but a pretty significant dent as though something's really landed hard on it. Has three elements, so maybe part of tree or something? I was miffed as I would have liked to have been at least made aware of it at purchase. There was no chance we could ever see it at the point of sale, such is the height of the car and its placement at the highest point and to one side. Perhaps dealer wasn't aware of it either. It does look a little bit like a car wash brush has been dropped on it though...prep damage? Dealer had offered to take out teeny tiny scuff on boot before purchse but neglected blooming great dent that couldn't be seen. ... Read more

(a) You can probably chuck it back at them without cost. Phew!...

So you've posted an incomplete message, care to elaborate and finish?
No idea how to remove it , but very often trapped water can be released by drilling a very small hole at the lowest point of the lamp .
