I have a 2006 Saab 92 2.0 Vector and has been on my drive for the last 3 months with the front tires just about flat, i managed to pump them up but one of them has a flat spot, after driving it for about 10 miles the flat spot noise seems to have subsided, the only issue i have now is that when i apply the brake i get the same kind of noise as the flat spot (front left n/s brake)

If those tyres have been virtually flat for 3 months as you quite clearly state, then that is quite possibly the source of the problem. They are likely to be in a dangerous condition too, with possible damage to the sidewall structure. The risk of a blow out at speed or in a corner could be considerable and you could be in the firing line for a prosecution (or the new owner may choose to vent his fury in a much more "personal" fashion).
I damaged the rear bumper, reversing plus low post, but I can't replace just the bumper. It comes with a rear panel that needs masking and then spraying. We paid the extra £350 for a "ceramic"coating when we purchased the car. The new panel will not have this. The bumper with the panel is about £200 then the prep and spraying of the panel and fitting. Sudenly it's nearer £500.

I believe people like Chips Away offer a bumper repairing service. Would be considerably cheaper than a Nissan main dealer.

I am all too well aware that anecdotes don't add up to data. But I have knowledge of two fatal accidents - lone driver, sober, at night, car in good order in both cases - where the car left the road and was undiscovered for hours - over 24 hours in one case. This delay prevented life-saving care being administered. If the system had been fitted, these two young people might well have survived, and their families and police would not have spent heartbreaking hours searching for them.
I don't know what proportion of emergency calls are made after road traffic collisions in which the caller either doesn't know the location, or gives it wrongly. Avoiding these situations could also be life-saving....
Looked for advice on this problem which is not unique but all advice is for a/c cars mine does not have a/c. Bought other blower motor same problem they say then resister but again only show cars with a/c any advice thanks Read more
Who is they?
My guess is that whether or not the car has a/c is irrelevant as far as what is wrong. The resistor pack may be different between a/c and non a/c equiped cars, but it will be seperate from the blower motor. You need to find out where it is located. Some cars it's easy, others require half the dash to be removed. Have a look on ebay for 'Picasso blower resistor' to see what they look like. They are not expensive, although the labour if you can't DIY, could be high.
My air con has failed due to stone damage leading to a repair bill of just shy of £800. Since the failure is due to stone damage surely this a design fault due to insufficient shielding.
