Mazda Reviews

New Cars
Good: Impressive small hatch that offers a good blend of comfort and handling. Well equipped as standard.
Bad: No spare wheel - just a tyre repair kit.
Good: Good looking and well engineered. Efficient engines. Excellent steering and handling, better still from 2017 revamp. Compliant suspension.
Bad: No DAB radio at launch (DAB arrived for 2017 MY).
Good: Family friendly seven seater. Sport has remote electric sliding side doors. Economical and light new 1.6 diesel. Compliant suspension astonishingly good on poor road surfaces.
Bad: Folding centre seat not as clever as Ford Grand C-MAX.
Good: Nimble and agile handling. Spacious cabin is very well made. Huge improvements to refinement and steering from October 2016
Bad: On 19-inch wheels suspension of 2012-2016 cars can feel firm at low speeds. Rear headroom in the saloon is limited for adult passengers.
Good: Great to drive. Well-finished cabin. Comfortable and practical. Huge improvements to refinement and steering from October 2016
Bad: Load area not as big as a Passat Estate. Suspension of 2013-2016 cars firm when on 19-inch wheels.
Good: Good to drive. Attractive styling. High tech features. Capable engines.
Bad: Expensive next to rivals like the Renault Captur or SsangYong Tivoli.
Good: Better looking, slightly lower CX-5. Improved infotainment and comfort over previous model.
Bad: On sale in Japan from February 2017, but not in UK until Spring 2017.
Good: Excellent handling makes it fun to drive. 1.5-litre model works very well on uneven UK roads. 2.0 as quick as many drivers would ever want. Well-equipped for the money.
Bad: No rear seats. High emissions.
