What is the best way to sell my 2008 Kia Cee'd?

We're moving house and will only need one car, so I am selling my 2008 Kia Cee'd 1.6 petrol. I usually part exchange and am not comfortable with selling privately to strangers. I have heard bad things about the various car buying websites and don't think it's interesting enough for an auction. What is my best option?

webuyanycar and wewantanycar are actually buyers for BCA and Manheim auctions so the prices offered depend on what the relevant makes and models are fetching at auction. If they don't want a car they simply make a derisory offer. If they do want it and if it is a model that is selling well, the vendor might be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately I don't think a 2008 Cee'd 1.6 petrol fits that category. Your best option for the best money is to try to sell privately, don't let anyone take a test drive without proving they are insured to do so, and take payment from them in a bank where it can be deposited as cash into your account.
