Audi oil consumption
My son has in the last 6 weeks purchased an Audi A5 coupe S line 1.8 TFSI. 11 plate c55k mileage from Car Shop. He had it serviced very quickly at Audi dealer (it has always been serviced by Audi). They didn't report any problems. However, it is using about one litre of oil every 380 miles. Audi are doing a check on this and the results will be sent to head office. My question is where does he stand in relation to Car Shop and Audi?

It's a common problem with this engine. But, legally, it's Car Shop's responsibility. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
