What do you think of driver satisfaction surveys?

Many people seem to swear by driver satisfaction surveys on dealers, however much of the feedback would appear to be subjective. If you just take the number of star ratings for dealerships they vary from two to four for same manufacturer, such as Fiat and BMW. What are you views on validity of these reports?

I agree. It's a survey of opinion and people's opinions change from the moment they get up to the moment they go to bed, and on what mood they are in when they are asked. Reliability indexes from warranty companies are far more reliable because they're based on actual warranty claims when cars are out of manufacturer warranty.
