Are there any potential problems that I should look for my 2001 Jaguar XK8 Coupe?

I’ve recently purchased a 2001 Jaguar XK8 Coupe with about 46,000m on the clock. It has immaculate bodywork and the interior is also pretty good. It also came with four new tyres. I paid £10,350 – is that a fair price? I’ve had it for nearly two months and it drives well. It’s had about five previous owners, and there’s a full Jaguar service history. However, I’m mechanically inept and the online reviews of my local Jaguar dealer aren’t good. Are there any potential problems which I should look out for?

Sounds like you got a fair price there - you certainly haven't paid over the odds. For reputable garages near you, why don't you have a look through our Good Garage Guide? Full details on the XK8 - and what to look out for - can be found here: You can also add your own review, which we'd be delighted to receive.
