Dodgy Punto
I have been looking at a used 52-plate Punto. No service history, 100,000 miles, MILKY SUBSTANCE on oil filler cap, but oil on dip stick is clean! No over heating, no misfiring, can you help me? Should I buy it, or walk away?

Might be condensation moisture from a lot of repeated short runs from cold starts. Might be head gasket failure.

Better than the original Punto in almost every way. Excellent driving environment. Easy to get in and out of. Practical and inexpensive to run.
