Is mixing tyre brands safe?

I have just got a BMW X1 M Sport which has mixed tyres. It has 3 Pirelli 225/50R18 99W and the nearside front is a LingLong 225/50R18 95V. Is it safe to leave it like this?

All your vehicle tyres are the same size so it complies with UK laws, although we would expect the performance of the odd tyre to not be to the same standard as the original three. For complete peace of mind we would recommend replacing this tyre with one of the same specification as the existing three.
