I currently run a BMW 3 series, now 8 years old. Both my wife and I are in our 70's and find it increasingly difficult to get into our car because of the sill. We are contemplating a change of and are looking for a 4 door, 4 seater car without a sill to step over. We know that the Mercedes A-Class has a raised driver and passenger seat
and no sill. Can you please let me know of any other cars that might suit our requirements? Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Decent to drive with quiet yet torquey 1.6 chain cam engine, sensible gearing, light controls and excellent ride quality.
