Padded sell

I thought I would update you on the situation with my Hyundai i10 brake discs and pads that needed replacing at just 3,000 miles. A little over a week ago the ABS light stayed on while I was driving. I decided to refer this to the Hyundai dealer I bought the car from. The service manager ran a diagnosis on the ABS and asked if I would mind allowing them to have my car for a couple of days so they could check out the ABS. I have today got my car back and it turned out that there was a fault on my car after all: something to do with a brake switch being over adjusted. It meant that when my car got hot the brakes were binding. They assure me that they have now rectified this. I will be taking the matter up with Hyundai customer service with a view to getting a full refund for the replacement brake discs and pads they made me pay for and hopefully an apology for the poor service. Thanks again for fighting my cause with Hyundai.

Excellent news that the supplying dealer finally found the fault and fixed it. A Hyundai engineer had been called in by the dealer who replaced the discs and pads. So it is infuriating he chose to blame you rather than check the system properly. If you don't get a full refund of all your costs, and a profuse apology, please let me know and I'll take this further.
