I asked for a new IAM badge and they said I should take another test - is this fair play?
Being a member of The Institute of Advanced Motorists and having the badge stolen off the car grill, I asked the IAM if I could purchase a new badge. They said I should take another test. Is this fair play?

At first I though, what? But then I can see their point. They want to make sure you still drive to the IAM standard bearing in mind that things have moved on since you passed your IAM test.
