TomTom SpeedCameras app now warns of traffic jams

TomTom’s Speed Cameras app has now been improved with the addition of traffic jam alerts. The free app, which warns of fixed cameras, common mobile speed camera locations and will even monitor speed through average speed camera zones, will now alert drivers of congestion ahead.

Visual and audio alerts will warn drivers of slow moving traffic or congestion, but only on the current road to keepwarnings relevant. The app requires a mobile data connection and does not provide navigation instruction, but it is free and works across most of Europe and some countries in the rest of the world.
