Hi
My mercedes sprinter is overheating. There is a new radiator fitted, and the coolant level is full.

Initially the water was boiling out of the radiator. I filled it up and tried to bleed it...... Got lots of air coming up. Within 4 miles the van starts to overheat. With the radiator cap off and engine running nothing seems to happen. I thought I would have seen the water moving. If I feel the pipe I can't feel any water flowing.

The fan is working ok, and there is no water in the oil.

Can anyone help?

I think I would be looking at a head problem ie gasket gone.
