First thing i'd do is swap the front and rear wheels over and see what difference if any is made, i suspect tyres are not quite round, whilst you have the wheels in the air spin them and watch carefully for anything out of true, give the wheels a good shake too make sure suspension is secure and tight.

I suspect they were at fault at the first service, 4 wheels badly balanced does not add up with the car almost new.

Has the vibration changed now the weather has warmed or did it improve after a few miles of driving, which would point to the tyres developing flat spots overnight and gradually rounding off as they warm up.

one other thing, are the wheels genuine and came with car?, they're not aftermarket requiring spigot adaptors which are missing?

Faulty shocks? worn or damaged suspension joint?

faulty steering rack?

out of round tyres (the 'story' about the balancing might not be entirely true - this is a car dealer remember)

[in writing] give the dealer one more opportunity to fix it. Inform them that if they don't, you will take the car elsewhere for a second opinion and send them any bill.

Thank you for a comment yesterday, but the writer mentioned the model 206cc, my car is the later version, a 207cc.

I bought this car a year ago as brand new. Car vibrates at 30mph, 40 mph and about 55 mph mainly through steering wheel. With the roof down, the vibration is much worse and is present from 25 mph to 40 mph.

At its 1st service, th technician found all 4 wheels were badly balanced and adjusted the balancing weights. The vibration with the roof up has improved, but no change with the roof down.

I require some advice please before taking the car back to the dealership. Have there been any reports of Peugeot 207cc cars having this fault, or is it a symptom of this particular convertible.

I'd appreciate any constructive advice please.
