ford focus titanium x - drivers door seal - joewright

having gone through a hand- carwash my wife noticed the rubber seal on the driver's door hanging down. This possibly could have happened when the 'cleaner' wiped the underside of the door, as the joint is underneath. What I would like to ask is, can anyone recommend an adhesive I can use to fix it back on .

The seal is not actually glued onto the door.It is attached by small white push in clips

thanks for replying , I had a look and there is an open joint, one end was hanging down about 9" long and being able to see the back it is flat as if it had been glued. I have just been out and checked and there is no sign of any push in clips, the door is sticky where the rubber sit's as if it is glued on more like a double sided sticky tape . I need to confirm this is the actual door and not the door frame cheers

Same happened on my previous focus under the same circumstances, in the end I cleaned the surfaces and used gorilla glue held in position with masking tape until it dried, never came down again

Gorilla glue is the brand, it is a super glue type, seem to remember the seal was originally just glued in place at that point, don't remember clips, but could be wrong

any type of clip or retainer would need to be close to the joint of the 2 ends and there is no sign of a retaining clip or peg. thanks
