Are AdBlue engines likely to be treated more leniently than other diesels in the future?

I'm considering a current model Citroen C4 Picasso with EAT6 gearbox, but I'm worried about the future for diesels. Would I be wrong to think that AdBlue engines are likely to be treated much more leniently in the future than other diesel engines?

These are EU6b engines, so okay for now. But the C4 Picasso EAT6 is at its best with the 1.2 Puretech 130 petrol engine, which has 230Nm torque and, unless you will be loading you C4 Picasso excessively, is absolutely fine.
