What's the air conditioning problem on my Jag?

I wondered if you could point me in the right direction regarding my Jag. After 2 1/2 years of happy ownership, last June I took my car to have the air con refilled as it wasn't as cold as it used to be (plus I read that ~2 years is average time to have your air con done). Anyway, the weather had hit a balmy 10c last week so o thought I'd turn the air con down a bit, only to realise that it wasn't that cold, even turning it to the lowest setting did nothing more than give me a lukewarm breeze. I have checked the fuses, which are fine so I'm assuming I must have a more serious condition and would appreciate your thoughts.

Many thanks in advance,
Richard

You must have a leak, either independent of the re-gas or caused by the re-gas. Most commonly from the condenser radiator matrix. Depending on the age of the car, could also be the compressor pump or, on older cars, the much cheaper electromagnetic clutch of the co,pressor pump.

I have a Jaguar X Type. Over the past week it has been blowing fuses. Every time it happens the engine cuts out. A friend thinks it might be the fuel pump. Can you help?
I have seen adverts indicating that the Jaguar X-Type is fitted with a BMW diesel engine. Is this correct? If so, which models would feature them?
Mu Jaguar X-Type has started using lots of water. Any idea why?
