Does the new golf and polo still uses dq200 gearboxes? Is there a way to confirm which model of dsg are used in any model ( since VW's website one shows dsg of 7 gears)?

As far as we're aware, Volkswagen Group models with small petrol engines (i.e. the 1.0- and 1.5-litre) use the DQ200 gearbox. That said, we have fewer reports of issues, so an update may have made it more reliable.
