  Hi all Just done the front discs and pads on my son's 59 plate Ford Fiesta. In the past when I've changed pads and discs I've always released the cap on the fluid reservoir to let the pressure go when I push in the piston to accommodate the new pads.

  I've got a 2006 Ford Focus Studio 1.6 TDCi (110K) and a few weeks ago the engine just cut out on me whilst on the motorway.  Could only get it started again with some "easy start" and took it to the garage. They replaced what they believed to be the cause of the problem which was the CAM sensor.

  Now the speedo does not work at all, and after driving a short distance the same problem occurs with the TC and odometer. I have taken the car to several garages, including Ford. Ford could not diagnose the problem a few months ago and by re setting the computer the problem corrected itself. It reappeared last week when I drove through a puddle! So far the garages have said it could be either the whole display panel or the Vehicle Speed Sensor.

  Bought brand new 1.8 petrol Zetec Climate Focus today (9-1-08) 10 miles on mileometer. This is the current model pre the February facelift . On the Ford Service blurb provided it says first service in 12.5K miles OR a year , now as I tend now to do 5K miles a year only, and have a lot of short journeys ie 4 miles to work and 4 miles home - can I ask OK to adhere to the Ford Advice ?

  Hi, I have a 1999/'V' Reg. Ford Focus 2.0 Zetec Ghia 16v with 84,500 on the clock. I am going to get the camshaft drive belt changed although the Ford Warranty & Service Guide supplied with it shows the replacement (I am assuming I have a Zetec-SE), recommended change at 100,000 / 10 years whichever is sooner.
