Ford Fiesta 1.4 Titanium, 59 plate - Front discs and pads 9 Mar 2013 (Forum)
Hi, In the last year or so I've done front discs and pads on a Mk 1 Focus, Mk2 Focus and a 10 plate Ford Ka, and now my son has asked me to replace the front discs and pads on his Ford Fiesta 1.4, Titanium, 59 plate. I found the other jobs fairly straightforward but don't have a manual for the Fiesta, and was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any potential issues with this particular job. -

Ford Fiesta (2002 - 2008) - 03 1.4 Hesitation from when trying to accelerate 10 Feb 2011 (Forum)
There is no engine management light flashing and it does not happen all the time. Have had the car to Ford for a service and paid for it to be tested on the engine analyser, only comment was that the "PCM needed calibrating" which was done as part of the analyser charge. This still has not fixed the problem, before I go back to Ford has anyone got any ideas. -

Ford Mondeo IV (2007 - ) - Missfire at 1100-1200 rpm 13 Oct 2009 (Forum)
I noticed after a few weeks it had a missfire between 1100 and 1200 rpm, the car has been back to main dealers between 10 and 12 times to be re programmed on the computer, during this time ford technical took up the case and kept telling me to go back to the main dealers to try again. To cut a long story short ford technical now say they have checked many 1.8 tdci cars out and they all have the same problem and say they cant do anything about it its just a characteristic of the vehicle.can anybody advise what I can do now. -
Ford Fusion (2002 - 2008) - 2004 1.4 Diesel Injector Seals 16 Jul 2009 (Forum)
Hi, My Fusion 1.4 TDCi has developed a metallic "ticking" sound on startup, it disappears when the engine is warmed up. My local Ford dealer reckons this is the Diesel Injector Seals that are probably starting to melt, and this appears to be a notable problem with the TDCi units. The Ford recommended repair is going to cost approx £520 as other stuff should be replaced as well. -
Ford Focus (1998 - 2004) - 99 1.8 What could be causing this noise ? 11 Jun 2009 (Forum)
I own a 1999 Ford Focus (petrol engine) which has covered 80k miles. I feel that I need advice on how to tell if the noise I think I can hear coming from somewhere from the car is due to a coolant pump, alternator or power steering pump problem e.g. worn bearings. -
Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - 2004 2.0 TDCi fuel Consumption 10 Apr 2009 (Forum)
How did you manage to convince Ford that it could be fixed? The onboard trip computer gives a very optimistic 47-50mpg readout, but the 40mpg is 'real' and found by a simple calculation of how many miles driven on a tankful of fuel.
