• Ford Galaxy 1.9 td 2001 - Water pump 29 Oct 2011 (Forum)
  This week according to the garage my water pump has gone again.   They are the original garage who did the repair in 2010, they are getting on to ford as the car has only done 15000 since the original part was fitted, the 10 month warranty has run out and the garage feel that ford should offer a goodwill gesture.   I was wondering what members feel I should be paying towards the cost of this repair?

  Sisters neighbour has lost main key to her 2002 Fiesta, is using the spare at this time. Key is a standard black topped Ford key ( no buttons ) with a red insert in the top edge. Have looked on Ebay ( I have little knowlege of Fords ) and have found identical blank keys but the text says " for cars up to 98 " and that Fiesta's from 2003 on have a key with a blue insert.

Rather than just break the window, they have used some sort of lever between the window and the channel (is there a correct name for this?) that it slides in.   So any "deal" offered by this broker on Ford vehicles may be worth little, or turn out to be even a bad one. We now know why Ford makes more from Finance Division than producing cars. Am I correct (DavidHM)?
