  Hi, I have got a 10 Months old Focus 1800 TDCi which we love. Ford have sent details about extended the warranty to 5 years or 100k for £500 with QBE. The warranty has to be taken out in the 1st year or 20k and includes 7 days car hire after the 1st 24 hours.. We do intend keeping the car for 5 years, so want peoples advice about the Ford Protect warranty.

  My girlfriend has a 52 plate Diesel Mondeo which she bought from new with a 60k or three year ford warrantee, it's now on 62k miles as she drives so much with work(which of course she claims mileage on), now as it is out of warrantee(but so far has been maintained and serviced by Ford dealers) we don't which is the best way to keep it serviced to maximise the resale value.
