  Is this a difficult job (not technically as I have changed cam belts before), but just very awkward on the 306? Is it nesessary to remove the road wheel(s) etc. to get at the various parts? Any help or advice appreciated. Is it best to change any idler roller(s) also whilst I'm at it? Thanks in advance for anyone who is kind enough to comment.

  On the end of the stalk there are three buttons - a centre one which pushes inwards towards the wheel, then an upper and lower one marked R and S respectively. It looks suspiciously like cruise control to me (R = RESUME, S - SET, button = ON/OFF), but it doesn't do anything.   I noticed the item in today\'s paper \"Warp Factor True\" (406 with warping brake discs). It reminds me of my same experience when my Rover 218 turbo diesel was a company car and the lease company garage kept replacing discs.
