  Looking at other forums this is a common fault with Ford taking the opportunity to charge £80 plus for a software update even before they try a diagnostic.   I founda free version of FORScan which read the fault codes. Is this a sxcam by Ford to make us take the cars to the dealerships and have them install minor software updates?

  Hi, this is Manoj from India, I am owning a ford mondeo 2002 model and few days back i found a problem with my clutch, While revving up the clutch become too smooth, but the gear transmission is also smooth, i would like to know what would be the problem and the solution for that problem.Does that problem cause any damage to the engine. please let me know any concerns about this problem and does any one face such type of problems.

  Dealer claimed tyres must be ok because car had RAC inspection certificate and that legal because had three quarters tread! Ford customer service just reiterated the dealers position. Very unimpressed and won`t be buying a Ford Direct car again.

  Can anyone help? I have bought a used & tried to install a Ford 6006e 6 disc Radio/CD player in place of my single disc model in my 1999 Ford Mondeo & also tried it in a an 2001 Ford Fiesta and understood it just plugged in using the same cables. When CD player installed there is no display (will not power on) so cannot even get to the code entry stage.
