  • Z4 uneven rear tyre wear 15 Dec 2006 (Forum)
I looked at a 3.0 Z4 yesterday (first one I've seen). The rear o/s was down to about 3mm of tread and the n/s was down to 5mm - is this a cause for concern? Apart from that and mild scuffing of the alloys it seemed absolutely mint.

  • Iveco/Renault/Ford - Torn between buying a used or new van. 9 Apr 2021 (Forum)
I really don;t want to drop £30K at the minute, but every time I look at used vans and then call the dealer they always put me off, they seem to have  a knack of talking a non stop stream of b******s.  Every time I look at a van I think how did the dealer acquire it? Why did the original owner sell it? I've seen a 2018 plate Renault Master with less than 40K at £18K with no vat, he's got two of them, one still with 1 year main dealership warranty, but I still think there must be some catch, then I look at sellers feedback and it always has some bad or some obviously fake!

  • Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - Focus 20000 mile report 29 Jan 2009 (Forum)
you can feel the extra surge. Great for overtaking. Great gearchange and clutch, brilliant steering and handling. A driver?s treat. But it achieves this by still offering a good supple ride. Comfortable seats with a good range of adjustments. Well assembled ? no rattles or squeaks. Quickclear screen ? great in the recent frosty weather.
  • New Fiesta 2003 startup failure! 23 Mar 2004 (Forum)
Hello, I just bought a Fiesta 1.4 with Tiptronic Transmission. Car is second hand but it\'s mileage is only at 2300km round the clock. My problem is about the ignition. Usually after half an hour break between driving, it happens. The engine cranks but not fire and fails to start. It may take 2-3 times to retry.
  • MG ZS (1.00Ltr) (Exclusive) (2024) - MG ZS Cruise Control Fault 24 Apr 2024 (Forum)
If you decelerate from 35mph to 30mph using the 1mph increments, it will jam at 32mph. This happens in the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s etc….. Has anyone else experiencing the same problem? The car has gone back to the dealer once and I got the usual response “we can’t locate the fault”, the car is due to go back to the dealer again, the fault is so obvious it’s ridiculous they can’t find it.

ve got enough money in the bank to fly to England and kill you if you harm my daughter. Fair enough. Anyway, I had an argument with him on New year?s eve that might interest backroomers. He told me I was stupid to sell the old 605 with only 130k miles on the clock as his Passat is now showing 487k and still going strong. That?s rubbish I said, you?
