  Hi everyone, hope you can help;   A month ago I was driving my Ford Fiesta when I had an EAC FAIL message flash up, the car pretty much lost all power and I had to pull over and restart the ignition which was fine, however this happened twice more on that journey and an engine management light remained on.

  I have a ford ka+ 2018, owned it for a week and noticed when I’m driving over speed bumps there’s a strange sound from the front left of the car. I have googled the issue and applied Wd40 specialist silicone spray to the control arm bushes and took it out for a test drive and it’s still the same.

  Hi All, I've recently bought Ford Mondeo 1.6 ecoboost 2012 (petrol) and noticed a clunk noise when shifting the gear from 3rd to 4th, there's no noise when shifting gear from 4th to 3rd or any other. There's also no noise when shifting the gear from 3rd to 4th when car is idle pr speed is lower than about 20mph.

  Can anyone help me please?  I have a 2010 Ford Ka and the heater fan speed only works on speed 4. I have read speeds 1, 2 & 3 are controlled via a heater resistor and it is highly likely the resistor has failed, I also understand the failure may be caused by a faulty heater blower motor.

  Hi, I've just got my Ford Fiesta 1.25 (2002) back from the garage after having a new water pump, timer belt,  thermostat and heater valve fitted.   The temperature gauge is now back to normal thankfully but even when the fan is switched off in my car there is still hot air coming out of the vents.

  Hi , i wonder if someone could assist or if anyone has had this before , i own a 2006 ford mondeo estate 1.8 duratec , so a month or so ago , i had my window down and whilst i was accelerating , there was like a chatter rattle noise coming from the driver side engine area , it doesnt happen when slowing down and there doesnt appear to be any noise of a rattle kind on idle , just the usual gentle tapping noises , i recently had the aux belt replaced and the mechanic checked all the pulleys on that side , so im at a loss at the min , it doesnt affect the car in any way , still starts and drives , just interested to find out what the noise is , can it be causing any damage and what the severity of the source is , thanks in advance

    I have seen a Honda civic 2009 2.2 diesel for around 4k with 90k on the clock. I have also seen a ford focus with 2008 1.8 diesel for the same price with only 45k miles on the clock. My girlfriend's fiesta had 70k miles when we bought it and it hasn't been awful but it really hasn't been great either.

  what are peoples thoughts on where i stand? i left my 2010 ford focus diesel in to get serviced. when i went to collect it the guy was going in about the turbo not working. i said i had no problems with this before and he said to go see what it was like. i picked the car up half an hour before he closed for weekend. the car had no turbo whatsoever and within 15 miles the engine management light came on so i drove it home easy and there was a terrible burning oil smell. i phoned him and took it down the next morning and now he wants to "try" things to fix starting with and egr fix costing about £200 for part alone. my ?

  Hi everyone! I recently helped the mother in law buy a tidy 2008/2009 Ford Fiesta as her runabout. Bought the car in good faith from a private trader who operates from his own home. Car is in great overall condition and we're really pleased with it. I downloaded the MOT app a few days ago and typed in the reg to bring up the MOT history and this is where it gets a bit confusing. 1st MOT was done July 2012 with 30,470 miles, 2nd MOT was done early March 2013 with 12,437 recorded mileage!

  Hello, Yesterday, I bought a lovely 5dr 2003 ford focus 1.8 (petrol). It had worked perfectly on the test drive and passed its MOT fine.  However, when collecting it, it initially would not start. Turned out to be the fuel pump fuse which had blown (called out the AA) - possibly because the fuel level had got so low.
