  Do I go for the Mk2 3008, its got cracking reviews and plenty of equipement, or Nissan Quashqui (sales record speaks for itself) KIA Sportage? or the Ford KUGA (I was a mondeo man for many years mk3 and 4. I love the look of the Kugas but the mrs likes the 3008. Any help pros and cons aprieciated. Looking for 2017/2018 plate with tops 40k on the clock.

  I have been looking at Honda Jazz on Autotrader and other sites and noticed their resale price at 3 years old is only about 8-9% below what it cost brand new, that surprised me. Fords Fiesta and Focus seem to be about 30 to 33% below the new cost at the time. No question but thought I would make a post in case anyone wants to comment. Also some garages I have looked at online do not take offers, no haggling (not that I like haggling or am any good at it).

  Have a ford focus 1.6 Tdci that sometimes after changing into 4th or 5th gear the revs will increase slightly (around 200rpm) with no speed pickup, then drop and the speed picks up. This can happen 1-3 times in a row fluctuating then once going it's fine.

  I now can't get the radio to operate, nor will it display any information, on the screen above the radio. When I press the button, to activate the radio, I get the " Ford Audio " message, but it won't go any further. It also means I can't access the Menu, to set the clock, pair Bluetooth devices, etc. The warning lights on the instrument panel all work, and the car drives normally.

  Here we have the tail of a simple puncture. T’other half has a new Ford Puma. She setting off for work at 8:30 noticed NSR rear tyre flat. Of course no spare or jack. Large screw in edge of tread. Tried compressor to inflate tyre till she could find a tyre shop. Wouldn’t inflate so being as though tyre looked a right off, told her to use the can of foam.

  Hey y'all   So I have a Ford Fiesta 1.25 from 2009. On a trip back up north  from London it became very difficult to change gears. Almost every change involved some sort of resistance and struggle. A few times it was so bad I had to slow down to about 40 mph on the motorway while struggling to get into gear and had people flashing me.

  Hi, we purchased a 64 plate Ford Focus with Arnold Clark just over three months ago., did not pay for extended warranty and Arnold Clark does 2 months as standard. Yesterday the car would not go into gear, we asked a friend who is a mechanic to take a look and he says the fault is the clutch slave cylinder.

  I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Transit 2.4 MWB High Roof van to convert to a camper. It was an ex power company van and they obviously had some kind of ventilations through the floor. The hole is about 10cm in diameter and the edges are unfinished (see photo link below) just behind the drivers side of the bulk head.

  Afternoon, I'm after some advice regarding a faulty compressor on an aging and creaky Ford. I'm in the middle of preparing said car for a banger rally to Monte Carlo, and the AC isn't working.  We've had it tested and miraculously there's no leaks and it holds pressure well, thus the compressor is looking likely as the culprit.

  The parents have acquired an H plate Fiesta, 5 door 1.1lx with about 40k on the dial. Logbook has Ford Motor Co as the first owner, along with a note saying the car was declared as first used abroad. It was subsequently sold on for private use  in the UK, but by what looks to have been a private dealership, rather than a Ford franchise.

  Hi All, I have a 2004 ford fiesta which has today failed its MOT on corroded rear brake pipes and main break pipes. The reason for the failure is following: Nearside Rear Brake pipe excessively corroded (3.6.B.2c) Offside Rear Brake pipe excessively corroded (3.6.B.2c) Nearside Brake pipe excessively corroded main brake pipe (3.6.B.2c) Offside Brake pipe excessively corroded main brake pipe (3.6.B.2c) Nearside Rear Road wheel distorted (4.2.A.1a) Local garage quoted £200 + VAT for the brake pipes and £30 for replacing the wheel, which sounds a lot.

  Hi All, I've currently got a 2017 1.5T Ford Focus Ecoboost on hire to me whilst my car is being repaired after an accident. Having had it now for about 4 days I'm becoming to realise how dull the thing is to drive, yes it's a Focus and it handles well; but I've noticed how blunted the performance feels and it doesn't feel anything like the 1.4TSi I had in a Golf a few years ago.
