  • Citroen DS5 - My Road Test Report 13 Mar 2015 (Forum)
All very clunky – so much so, that I ended up plugging in my Tomtom and using that instead. One very good feature was the reversing camera, augmenting the rear parking sensors – a good thing as visibility through the tiny rear window is terrible, and the screen looks about 50 yards away in the rear view mirror. So how does it drive?
  • The complete driver. Why worry? 27 Apr 2003 (Forum)
A couple of bicycles strung on the back of the old jalopy will soothe the tree-huggers and possibly cover one?s number plate from the speed cameras. If the bicycles are ever stolen or removed, do retain the carrying-frame. This has tine-like fingers protruding from the rear of the car at just around face height for motorcyclists and cyclists.
  • Hijacking - worth reading. 23 Sep 2003 (Forum)
Don't do stupid things like leaving your cellphone, briefcase or shopping parcels on your passenger seat. If you fill up at a petrol station check to see whether the place has surveillance cameras and try to park within their range. Don't take pamphlets from complete strangers at stop streets and robots. Never drive with your windows down or your doors unlocked. Don't pick up hitchhikers.
  • Anatomy of a ride 23 Mar 2005 (Forum)
Ride briefing is carried out by the stage leader (me for once) about where we stop, who has the Fix-A-Flat aerosol, the disposable Kodak camera and First Aid kit just in case, does everyone have copies of their reg docs and licence etc etc. Police have been known to take your ride if you can't prove ownership and we all know what happens to it after that.......ends up either in the chop shop or the local mayor is riding it with no reg plates.
