Review: Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive 2016 (productReview)
There is also a 12V outlet for charging phones or sat navs, or for powering heated clothing if you're going to ride year around. The seat lifts on hydraulic rams and there’s space underneath for a couple of helmets, plus there’s even a courtesy light. The only minor niggle is that the seat doesn’t lift particularly high, which restricts access to the storage area. -

Review: Sakura headrest dog guard (productReview)
But does the Sakura lack the build quality needed to prevent a dog climbing over the rear seats? What's it like? The Sakura dog guard is fairly light and far slimmer than previous dog guards we've tested. It comes unassembled in three sections; the long main dog guard and two 'wings' that clip onto the guard to extend the length in wider cars. -
Top 10: Learner legal commuter bikes and scooters (Article)
The Agility 125 is very compact and light, making it effortless to ride and extremely fuel efficient. However, its size means the seat is small and not particularly comfortable for larger riders. There isn't much storage space, though you should still be able to get a single helmet and a lock in the under-seat storage area. Aside from that, there’s not much to say – the Agility 125 is a simple, honest, good value scooter. -
Day Sixteen Prize - Travall Guard (Article)

It's designed to be easy to install, fit perfectly and be rattle-free. It's the perfect accessory for concerned dog owners or those worried about the dangers of travelling with unsecured cargo. -
Review: CF Moto 650 GT (productReview)
The controls are easy to reach and mirror the excellent riding position of the 650 GT. It has a natural seating position and well-padded seat that means you can spend long hours on the go without fidgeting. Just as well as the 19-litre fuel tank and excellent economy mean 200 miles from a fill are perfectly possible. -
Review: MASH Black Seven 125 (productReview)
For shorter riders (like myself; 5'7"), the bike is also reassuringly small with a seat height of 780mm. Filtering shouldn't cause too much anxiety with a bike this narrow (720mm wide) either. Unfortunately, when it comes to taking the MASH out of urban areas, its flaws start to show themselves more. -
Review: Zontes T310 (productReview)
Or the sturdy crash bars, diamond-cut aluminium wheels, 37mm upside-down forks, electrically adjustable screen and comfy-looking seat. Let’s start with that seat. It has a height of 840mm, which makes it higher than many commuter bikes but lower than a lot of adventure offerings. This test rider is 5ft 10in tall and could swing a shorty leg over the saddle with ease and get both feet on the ground. -
Review: Lexmoto Enigma 125 (productReview)
The high seating position gives a good view ahead and the rear-view mirrors offer a reasonable image of what’s behind without much blur. Behind the rider, the pillion gets a more bum deal as the saddle is quite small and the foot pegs are integrated into the toe board, so it’s not the most accommodating passenger seat. -
Review: Yamaha XMAX 300 (productReview)
The seat height means some riders might also find placing a foot flat on the ground a little tricky, which is not what you want on a scooter that weighs 179kg when topped up with fuel. However, that weight instantly melts away the moment you pull away on the XMAX. -
Review: Peugeot Django 125 2017 (productReview)
If you pick a two-seat version and your licence permits, then you could carry a pillion, though we wouldn’t recommend venturing out of town. There are chunky passenger grab handles, sizeable flip out footrests and the seat is quite wide, so passenger comfort is reasonable, but two-up there won’t be much performance in reserve. -
Review: Honda CMX 500 Rebel 2017 (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/16c384dbb7144bc5a6872a378a8ed27d" /> On the plus side, the engine is slightly ahead of the seat and the riding position means it, along with the air flowing through the radiator, keeps your legs warm on a cold day. But if you’re planning to ride the Rebel throughout the year then you’ll want to keep your stylish open-faced helmet at home through the winter. -
Review: Honda Forza 125 2017 (productReview)
Fortunately, the mirrors (which are actually useful and don’t just remind you what your elbows look like) are easy to fold if needs be, plus the Forza's bulk means other road users notice it and treat it like a big bike. The ignition system is keyless, as is the locking system for the under-seat storage. As long as you have the key in your pocket you can open the storage compartments and start the bike up – and a nice side-effect is that you can’t accidentally lock your key in the under-seat storage. -

It's one of only a handful of 360 rotating seats on the market and, while it's expensive, it feels very worth the money. -
Review: Suzuki SV650 2017 (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/e5b4ea801f734caf9ea4d6d4cf2f1b92" /> Pillion provision exists and is fine for the odd short ride, with a reasonably wide and soft back seat (the pictured bike has an optional seat as part of an £849 Cafe Sport pack). However, the pegs aren’t exactly well placed for long distance comfort, so two-up touring isn’t on the cards. Nor is one-up touring for that matter – the lack of weather protection means rain and wind get tiring pretty quickly. -
Review: Honda CB500X 2016 (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/c7453bdee50b4dc4a80bbc4c737cbaad" /> The seat height of 810mm is, for an adventure-styled bike, quite low. That’s good news if the 500X is your first big bike, since it’s easier to get both feet down, which helps if you’re getting used to the heft of something heavier and bulkier than a 125cc learner bike. -
Top 10: Scooters 2020 (Article)
Honda PCX 125 The Honda PCX could well be the scooter for all occasions. Its slimline looks belie how well it keeps the wind and rain off its rider, while a comfy seat offers long distance support and enough space for a pillion to tag along too. There’s even plenty of room to stash your helmet and shopping under the seat. A quiet, typically efficient Honda 125cc engine powers the PCX and offers up strong acceleration off the mark. -
Top 10: Best scooters 2018 (Article)
A reshaped chassis allows for a narrower width to help when filtering and it provides more storage space under the seat than many rivals so you can pack two full-face helmets in there. There are single brake discs front and rear and this Kymco comes with ABS anti-lock stoppers as standard, which is great value for a scooter starting at £4695. -
Review: Kawasaki W800 (productReview)
Go for the Café model and its seat is 20mm taller but it’s also narrower, so there are no issues with planting a boot on the deck as you come to a stop.Review: Suzuki GSX-R125 (productReview)
We like most of the design features, although a tail tidy might be in order for some because the rear end of the bike isn't pretty. There's also very little storage space, so get yourself a top box. A split sports seat means you can carry a pillion passenger too, but it isn't a comfortable seat by any means. On the plus side, the LCD dash is excellent; it's very easy to read, showing fuel gauge, gear indicator, rev counter etc.
