All respectable money. Yet, on the other hand, a 102k mile 05 Peugeot 407 1.6HSI S sold for £1,900, a 91k mile 2007/57 Vectra 1.8VVT Design sold for £2,300, a 130k mile 07 Vectra 1.9CDTI 150 estate sold for £2,850, 93k mile 2007/57 Ford Mondeo 1.8TDCI 125 Edge sold for £4,000, a 129k mile 2007/57 VW Passat 2.0TDI 140 estate sold for £4,100, a 112k mile 07 LandRover Freelander II 2.2TD4 S sold for £7,425, a 112k mile 08 reg BMW 320D SE Touring sold for £7,800, 76k mile 08 Audi A3 Sportback 2.0TDI 170 s-tronic sold for £8,000, 101k mile 07 reg BMW 740i Sport sold for £9,050, and a 61k mile 2007/57 Range Rover Sport 2.7TDV6 bid to just £16,900 provisionally.

Watch out too for the diesel Golf of Lloyd Allard from Cirencester. With an eye on another title even at this early stage of the year is Chippenham's Will Di Claudio, seemingly making Class B his own with his rapid Peugeot 106. Chippenham's Martin Chivers is likely to be the best of the MG ZR runners.

Slotting into the win was Melksham's Adrian Slade who now has his MG ZR working well and capable of running in the top ten.

  Relying on turbos for their oomph are the likes of double champion Tony Hutchings from Calne in his Audi TT and Southampton's Adam Prebble in the Rover, whilst the normally aspirated runners such as Bristol's Mark Wyatt, the reigning class B champion in the Astra and Bridgwater's Tony Dolley in the Peugeot 206 rely on all round driveability. Class B sees the Peugeot 106s such as those from reigning champion, Nick Charles from Yate and David Kift from Bristol versus the Fiesta of Bath's Guy Parr.
