  • Nissan Takes Scrappers Up To X-Reg 15 May 2009 (News)
    The standard £2,000 Scrappage incentive is made up of a £1,000 discount off the price of any new Nissan, including Nissan’s LCV range, courtesy of the Government, and a further £1,000 reduction from Nissan for owners of pre-September 1999 models**. However, Nissan is extending the £2,000 minimum trade-in offer to models aged 8-10 years old for any customer choosing one of the car maker’s British built range – that includes any new Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2*.
  • Nissan revamps famous small car for 2008 14 Sep 2007 (News)
    Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan is to update its Micra line for 2008. The company has commented that it intends to make the car more aesthetically pleasing while introducing a number of equipment changes. "Less profound" front headlights, a new bumper and improvements to the styling and grade structure means that people driving a new Micra out of Nissan dealerships in 2008 will have a "fresher and cleaner" experience.

    The body has been beefed up and widened, with the chunkier wheel arches and huge 20-inch alloy wheels. The super-crossover look is finished with a split rear spoiler. Just two versions of the Nissan Juke-R are being created, one in each of left-hand and right-hand drive. The cars have been developed by Nissan and are being built by leading motorsports outfit RML with input from Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC-E).
