New Bond film to star Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin cars 10 Feb 2015 (News)
The upcoming James Bond movie, called Spectre, is set to star special project vehicles built by Jaguar , Land Rover and Aston Martin . James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, will drive the Aston Martin DB10, which was specifically designed for the film, with just 10 being made. Bond will face off against Blofeld, played by Christopher Waltz. Blofeld will drive the Jaguar C-X75 concept, which is expected to feature alongside the DB10 in a car chase through Rome. -

Beetle Goes Diesel 9 Jan 2002 (News)
VW has finally announced a RHD diesel version of its Mexican-built front-wheel-drive Beetle. Instead of the punchy 130bhp TDI PD and a sporty look, the new car has a sensible specification that more closely encapsulates the spirit of the original rear-engined Beetle. For £14,175, you get the 100bhp 1.9 TDI PD engine developing 177lb ft torque at 1,800rpm. -

The Bentayga can accommodate five adults, although this diminishes to four if individual and adjustable chairs are specified for the rear. Based on the Audi Q7 platform, the Bentayga will get four-wheel drive and air suspension (with adjustable ride height), along with selectable driving modes to adapt the engine, gear and damping response to cope with everything from icy conditions to mud laden off-road tracks. -

As before, a six-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard and a six-speed auto is available as an option. Buyers can select between four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive, with the range-topping Wildtrak models getting four-wheel drive as standard. There's no changes to report for the powerful 200PS 3.2-litre TDCi engine, but Ford has improved the Ranger's specs. with SYNC2 - the second-gen of its hi-tech infotainment system - now available. Range topping Rangers also get an eight-inch touchscreen as standard, while safety equipment is bolstered with the option of a new lane keeping aid and adaptive cruise control. As with the outgoing model, the Ranger retains its off-roading credentials, with a wading depth of 800mm and a 299mm ground clearance. -
