Dealer Service - Toyota Yaris 15 Mar 2003 (Forum)
The service writer asked if she had the socket for the locking wheel nut - \'Yes it is in the glovebox with the service record book\' she replied. My wife had emptied the car of everything else at the weekend, there were no personal belongings in the car at all - just the service book, locking wheel nut socket and the standard toolset and jack in the back. On picking up the car this evening - the garage said the locking wheel nut socket was not in the glove compartment!!! -

Wondering. New job, new car. 20 Sep 2019 (Forum)
I have been self employed for a while so any kind of credit agreement may get complicated. I tend to increase the entropy of cars by a large factor so I worry about spending a lot. The other car is a Subaru Forester so the bee keeping side is covered while I go off to be corporate boy. -

Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - What to do with my car? [Read Only] 15 Dec 2009 (Forum)
My background is in the food industry and I know nothing at all about cars, in fact I didn't even know my car had a turbo until last weekend. I have only had the car 6 months, it has only covered 67,000 miles and was a one owner car with full service records. It was owned by a man who worked for Ford, so I thought it would be a good purchase. -

VW Golf - Used car dealer - insurance question 28 Sep 2017 (Forum)
I said this will be your easiest sale of the year.... (and then the trouble started). Yesterday we rang our insurer and switched over the cover and then drove down to the dealer to collect the car. We had another look at it, cool. We then sat down presuambly to sign the log book and GTFO of there. We then had to sign a half a dozen forms to say we didn't want anything other than the car thanks (finance, gap insurance, breakdown insurance blah blah). -

BMW 528 - Does 3rd party insurance have the legal right - 12 Sep 2013 (Forum)
When the assesor sent by the 3rd parties insurers looked at the car, I expressed that I did not want the car written off. He commented on the good condition of the car and how it didn't look it s age nor show the miles it has covered. This due to me being so particular that everything is kept in top condition both cosmetically and mechanically. -
