Skoda Octavia courtesy light wiring 11 Aug 2004 (Forum)
I don't want to snip the wrong wire and risk, for example, irreversible deadlocking of the door in question. But I don't mind cutting the correct wire as a permanent solution, after all the car has very nearly covered the same distance as that from here to the moon. Cheers Dave TD. -
Spurious VW leak 9 Oct 2003 (Forum)
Just noticed today there is a damp patch on the carpet, front passenger side in my Passat, just to the right of the centre console (kinda like where the pedels would be if it was a left hand drive car). The only things I've had done is the break fluid change, on Friday, and two weeks prior had a service from VW where they changed the rocker gasket cover. Now I'm pretty sure this leak has only developed in the last couple of weeks. -

He said dealers don't normally like you to delete codes but he would print off a report showing what codes come up and id just need to hand these into dealer.Codes were cleared and car was now drivable and i went on my way Walked into Arnold Clark the next day and their reply was "we cant fix the fault if the faults are not present in the car". -
