Hi there still dec iding whether to buy thismazda but we have also noticed that the TCS warning lights are permanently on and also the ABS and Brake system warning lights are also permanently on. BMW 1 Series - removing road wheels 16 May 2011 (Forum)
I need to check the rear brake pads so i've jacked the rear up under the diff, put axle stands under the rear side jack points, removed the bolts holding the wheels on, but the wheels wont come off. There must be something else securing the wheels something I've missed. -

How do you apply the handbrake? 8 Apr 2009 (Forum)
Should the button be pressed in, or not? I only ask because the handbook of the CC3 says do not press the button while applying the brake. A poster in one the Honda CRV threads has been told the same by Honda. I've always pressed the button and never had any problems. I wonder what difference it makes and why the advice not to press the button is given? -
FIAT Seicento (1998 - 2003) - 01 1.1 Speedometer not working 14 Mar 2009 (Forum)
The speedometer on the Seicento SX has stopped working today. I am assuming on a 51 plate the speedometer feed is electronic. The rear brake lights work which I think rules out the fuse - it's on the same circuit I think. Can someone suggest anything obvious to check? Thanks -

2002 Peugeot 406 Wheel Squeek 12 Apr 2007 (Forum)
My 2002 Pug 406 is making a intermittent squeeling/squeeking from the osf wheel. The sound goes away briefly when washed, which leads me to think it may be something to do with brake dust - but something is niggling telling me I'm wrong. It has steel wheels with trims - are they more susceptible to collection of dust? Cheers, DB -
Trabants 22 Feb 2007 (Forum)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6384585.stm The last one reminded me of something I saw on Top Gear once - someone had rebuilt a 601S with a tubular steel chassis and had put in disc brakes and a 1275cc Mini Cooper engine, enabling (thanks to the light weight) a sub-9 sec 0-60, IIRC. That sort of thing has always amused me, don't know why... -

ESSO 'on the run' stations 8 Jan 2007 (Forum)
I recently went into 2 separate Esso ststions in our locality (Reading). All I wanted was some spare brake light bulbs, however it now seems these stations sell virtually no automotive items apart from a couple of bottles of oil and screenwash. Okay you can get a loaf of bread or a pastie, but whatever happened to petrol stations stocking basic car items such as bulbs ? -
306 heater matrix 2 Nov 2006 (Forum)
How easy is it to remove the matrix on a 306. It seems well and truly sealed into the area behind the firewall next to the brake servo. My first problem is how to access it? cheers Matt -
Nissan Primera Squealing Noise 5 Apr 2006 (Forum)
Seems to be unconnected to road speed and engine revs. The noise goes away temporarily if I dab the brakes lightly. Any ideas? Thanks -
Help - Walter Rohrl film clip 2 Oct 2005 (Forum)
The in car camera was pointed at his feet which were 'dancing' on the pedals and showing his mastery of 'left foot braking'. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to the exact title of the video or a recent title which contains the same clip? Fullchat -
stealth car (not) seen this morning 19 Nov 2004 (Forum)
All I could see of it was the rear numberplate reflected in my headlights. If I hadn't had my lights on, I may not have seen him until his brake lights came on, and when the outside temp is -1, that is not good ! -
Servicing. Rover 420 SLDi 27 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Rover 420 SLDi. I had the coolant and brake fluid replaced yesterday for £37.50. ATS carried out the work. Their staff proved friendly and helpful. Well recommended. Two weeks ago they replaced the engine oil and filter, using Helix 10/40 & a Cooper filter for £22.99. -
Golf Mk4 airbag warning light 4 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Recently I had to brake heavily and mount the pavement with my front wheel to avoid a collision. After this, the airbag warning light came on and remained on. The next time I turned on the ignition the airbag warning light did not reappear. -
