Low BIK but Quick Volvo S80 for 2002

Thu, 17 Jan 2002
Volvo has launched a 200bhp 2.4T version of its impressive S80 saloon for 2002. The big benefit is a reasonable starter price of £23,855 and a low CO2 of 222g/km for the manual. This means BIK tax over 2002/2003 of £2,579.58, which isn't bad at all for a big 143mph car with a 0-60 of just 7.7 seconds. The auto emits 242g/km and costs from £24,955, so BIK is a bit heavier at £3,094.42.
