Citroen ZX - Citroen ZX Central Locking Control Unit - jordanmcc42

After many hours of searching I can't find any information on what I'm looking for, so I decided to give it a go on here.

I'm trying to locate the remote central locking unit on my 1997 Citroen ZX 1.4i Temptation. After consulting the Haynes manual, the unit should be located next to the handbrake. However, this unit is a sealed box marked as 'Pretensioner - do not remove'. So now I am stuck and I'm not sure where to look.

I have a replacement unit which I am trying to fit, but I'm not having any luck as I cannot find where it needs to go.
