Bit of a funny one, 1.4 HDI on a 52 plate, loss of power under load only, it is very sluggish and won't go over 60. No fault codes but the air flow was down by half compared to the reference on the diagnosis machine, so i conclude it is the MAF sensor. Replaced it and no difference. I don't think it could be the EGR, as if it was sticking open then you would get smoke out the back and a fault on the reader. Could the wastegate be stuck open or is there a fairly common problem on something i have missed? My mind points me towards fuelling but the pressures on the diagnosis were fine... scratching my head here, any ideas? thanks,
