Model T-Spirit.
Can anyone help me determine (a) whether I do have heated rear view mirrors and (b) how to discover if they are operational? Yesterday they remained fogged up despite the rear screen heater being on and it was visibly working. If heated mirrors are fitted (to "some cars" as per the Owner's manual) then the rear view mirrors are heated when the rear screen heater element is switched on. Thank you.

While I don't know if your car is equipped with heated mirrors, I can tell you that if it was, they should work very quickly. My Suzuki has them, and if not garaged and frozen up, the mirrors are clear before the end of our road, while the HRW is slowly making wider lines as the frost is cleared. You need a showroom leaflet with the equipment for all the models on it. I doubt it is a loose wire or fuse, as the HRW is probably on a common fuse with the mirrors and a wire adrift would probably only affect one mirror.

Lists the equipment your car has, assuming I chose the correct model.

Hi Jcoventry--many thanks for your reply. I had a look at the link and it only (as far as I can see) makes reference to the electrically adjustable wing mirrors and it was the correct model. I shall see if I can get hold of the advertising brochure for that model. Many thanks for your time and trouble.

Thanks boggles. Yes I would assume that HRW & mirrors would have a common fuse hence my dilemma and yes the showroom leaflet is an excellent point. In the old days when one was able to get a Haynes manual then at least the wiring diagram was available. Thank you.
