Fabia VRS service - mattbod
I am getting my brother in law to service my Fabia VRS. It has the same engine as the previous generation Galaxy and he works at a Ford dealers but can the he get rid of the really annoying spanner that pops up.It's annoying and something that only a VAG dealer can do?

I should think so - daughter has a SEAT Ibiza and the service indicator always pops up a few mths after it's been serviced as the dealer forgets to reset it.
Instructions are in the handbook - I can't remember off the top of my head but it's some combination of press and hold the trip reset and turning the ignition key.
