Won't be any problem at all :) I am not sure if it will make any difference though, I have tried it on my Corsa and it did seem to run a little bit better but it was probably all in my head.

as Rattle has rightly said, it will be fine - I put some in my Vectra although i cant say i noticed anything different other than the price, ill just stick to the normal stuff to be honest

I think on cars with variable valve timing where the ECU can adjust things according to the octane of the fuel it can make a difference but for your average family hatchback it is probably pointless. I think they do also clean a bit better than normal petrol so if you put a couple of tanks worth of it in it might have the same effect as Redex.

Yes I agree with what you say Rattle, - for the price difference between V power and standard in a Normal Car its not really worth it mine runs just as well on the normal stuff

thanks Rattle,Redviper and all for your replies,i will do what Rattle suggest's put a tank full in now and then it will give the engine a clean at least.

What does your Owner's Guide say? My 12/2002 edition says "Unleaded fuel (95 octane). Higher octane unleaded fuels may be used but offer no significant advantage."

The key word is "significant", however it does imply some advantage.
