Peugeot 106 (1991 - 2002) - 98 1.5 mystery dash light?

98 1.5 mystery dash light? - debs106
As i turned right twice today a red light flicked on briefly on my dash. I think it is just to the left of the airbag light. It is not one of the lights that come on at start up, and I don't seem to be able to make the light come on so that I can see what it is!
Any ideas?

You may think it doesn't light up at startup but worth urgently checking your oil level with the dipstick all the same to rule out the oil pressure warning light. Cornering and low oil level go hand in hand when it comes to lighting up the warning light.

Worth checking the brake fluid level as well in case it was that warning light. If borderline low then can also come on briefly when cornering.

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is much use to you as it's for a car 3 years newer than yours but Peugeot's Service Box has a handbook for a 2001 106 - tinyurl.com/nd4lq4 (you may have to trawl a bit for it).
